MEN IN THE KITCHEN
Lily Pons, the world-famous American singer, expressed the opinion in San Francisco the other day that women should be permitted to help out around the barracks of United States drafted men. "Why not?" she asked interviewers. "Why shouldn't women keep house for their men in camp like they do at home? "A man's place is not in tho kitchen. We could provide real home cooking for the boys, maybe hang curtains and provide domestic atmosphere. I like the idea."
