WEDDING IN SYDNEY

COMMON—PHILLIPPB BRIDE FROM AUCKLAND The wedding took place in Sydney on .January 11 at St. .John's Church, Darlinghurst, of Miss Nora, Phillipps, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Phillipps, Galatea Terrace, Herno Bay, and Lieutenant Stanley Common, of Sydney, Royal Australian Naval Reserve, younger son of the late Mr. and Mrs. \V. Common, South Shields, l.ondon. The bride was given away hy Mr. J. 15. Grunt, formerly of Heme Bay, and Miss Frances Grant was in attendance as bridesmaid. The bridegroom was attended by Lieutenant J. Kin lock, Royal Australian Naval Reserve, as best man. Following the. ceremony a dinner party was held at the Hotel Australia.
