SCATTERED SHOWERS

CONDITIONS IN WAIKATO [from our own corresponded] HAMILTON. Monday Apart from a few scattered showers the weather was fine in Hamilton to-day, but a boisterous westerly wind kept temperatures much below those ruling last week. Gardens and pastures are already benefiting from the rain which fell over the week-end, and it is expected that production on Waikato farms will soon show an upward trend. The total rainfall for Jan uary to date is 2.16 in., all of which has fallen since last Friday evening.
