[from our own correspondent] WIT AK ATAX.E, Sain relay Following the recent warning by the Transport Department that prosecutions would result from farmers allowing stock to wander on the highways, eight charges were preferred against district farmers in the "Whakatane Magistrate's Court. Fines were imposed in all cases by Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M.
