GAME BIRDS PLENTIFUL

" Game birds are particularly plentiful at present in the hill country between Cambridge and To Awamutu surrounding Maungatautari Mountain. There aro largo numbers of pheasant and quail 011 tho bracken-covered hillsides, while wild ducks, some with broods of ducklings, are to be seen in tho streams. Pukokos, which appear to havo wintered exceptionally well, are numerous in the swamps in tho more sparsely settled districts.
