HIGH VEGETABLE PRICES v Cabbages sold at advanced prices at the City • Markets yesterday, while cauliflowers were cheaper. Fair supplies ol pumpkins realised very high prices, and cucumbers, onions, green peas and beans were also dear. Asparagus and / marrows were plentiful at good values, but.new- potatoes again brought low rates. Values of'both Stunner and Delicious apples increased slightly, and there was about the usual demand for Kelis pears. • Good quality grapefruit sold well..
