CLUB ACTIVITIES
Bahai Centre.—An address on China and tho work of the Chinese Mission in Auckland was given by the Rev. Y. S. Chan at the Bahai monthly social contact evening. Musical items were.given by Mrs. Gordon Robertson. New Women's Club. —An open afternoon was held 011 Friday when subjects for discussion were brought forward by members. The president, Mrs. W. 13. Darlow, presided, and Mrs. A. E. Robinson was hostess. Western Springs Women's Movement: —A talk 011 the social welfare work done by the Salvation Army in Auckland was given bj- Major Hart. The club president, Mrs. Purdom, presided. Penwomen's Club.—An address 011 China was given by Mr. Martin Taylor, who arrived recently from that country after eight years' residence there, at the last meeting of the club. The president, Mrs. Helen Griffiths, presided. The drama circle of the club presented a varied programme on Tuesday, including a mime written and produced ijby Miss Mary Davidson.
