TOPICAL COMEDY
"HE STAYED FOR BREAKFAST" Provided with an entertaining theme and brisk dialogue, "He Stayed for Breakfast," the bright film which will open its Auckland season at the Civic Theatro 011 Friday, is a delightful topical comedy based on the troubles of a fugitive Communist. The latter role is excellently taken by Melvyn Douglas, already 0110 of tho most popular light players on the screen, while the part of a woman who shelters him in spite of her husband's political hostility is taken by Lorctta Supporting roles in this fine Columbia production are taken by Eugene Pallette, as the banker husband, Una O'Connor and Alan Marshall.
