GAMING CHARGES
THREE MEN REMANDED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Tuesday Bail of £IOO was allowed when Alfred Bruce Roberts, of Frankton, appeared in the Hamilton Police Court before Mr. G. K. Sinclair, J.F.. on a charge of using his premises as a common gaming house. Leonard James Conlan, who was charged with assisting Roberts, was remanded 011 a bail of £SO. Joseph Michael Gill was remanded on bail of £SO 011 a charge of carrying 011 the business of bookmaker. All men were remanded until Thursday.
