YOUTH RALLY
TOWN HALL SERVICE About 1500 young people and many adults took part in a service of intercession held in the Town Hall yesterday afternoon bv the Auckland Christian Youth Council, which comprises delegates from a number of churches and religious and youth organisations. Representatives of secondary schools were also present. Miss E. Bennet, general secretary of the Auckland Y.W.C.A., presided. Several members of the Youth Council acted as leaders in (he course of the service, which consisted of prayers, responses and readings, with familiar hymns. An address 011 prayer was Riven by Mrs. W. F. Bull, and another on the dedication of youth by Mr. J. 0. Sanders, who spoke of the Christian way of life as offering the best hope for the remaking of a , distracted world. Mr. Arthur E. Wilson assisted as organist.
