"HOST TO HIMSELF"

When Lawrence Stockman, licensee of the Prince of Wales publichouse, Slough, was summoned at Slough, Buckinghamshire, for being drunk on his own premises, it was stated that two police officers, who called at the request of Mrs. Stockman, had to carry Stockman upstairs and put him to bed. The case was dismissed under the Probation of Offenders' Act.
