N.Z. WAR WORKERS START NEW "SIEGFRIED LINE"

A I'STHALIA had a "Siegfried Line" recently, when a tent support rope at Ingleburn Camp was given the name by the members of the sewing bee of the New Zealand Auxiliary War Unit. In charge of Mrs. Donald Ferguson, three carloads of women spent the day at Ingleburn sewing, darning and patching, and another party will go again soon. As each garment was finished it was hung outside the tent on tho "SiegMrs. Ferguson said that the name was begun as a joke, hut finally even the men referred to it quite seriously when they came to collect their mending.
