GRAMMAR OLD GIRLS
AID FOR ORPHANAGES The annual meeting of the Auckland Grammnr School Old Girls' Association Almoners' Guild, was hold in tlio George Court tearooms yesterday afternoon. Tlio annual report, presented by the convener, Miss B. Lund, stated that during the year several orphanages had received parcels of clothing made by the guild members. The hostesses were: Mrs. J, Barker and Mrs. A. M. Nicholson. Others present wore: Mrs. C. B. Plummer, Mrs. W. Morpeth, Mrs. M. Alexander, Mrs. J. Pool, Mrs. Johnstone, Mrs. Sad(tpoVc, Miss F, M. Johnson, Miss \\. LaVers Miss MacDoilald, N1 iss E. Watson, Miss K. Brown and Miss L. Sloaiie.
