Because the railways have only a few weeks' supply of coal, the train services in ,Victoria have been curtailed. Suburban services are reduced by half, except in peak periods. The Saturday and Sunday expresses to Adelaide have been cancelled. Some poorly patronised services in Queensland haVe been cancelled and others curtailed.
