Bishop has resigned his position as Secretary ol' t'/e New Zealand Employers' Federation to accept a lull-time post as secretary of the New Zealand Coal Mine Owners' Association.
Ml*. Hishop has been secretary of both organisations since their amalgamation in 1922, hut it was recently decided that the work involved in the administration of each hody had reached a stage where individual secretaryships were required. He became industrial advisor to the Coal .Mine Owners' Association in 1921. "With the amalgamation of the association and the federation in the following year, he took over the dual position, which he has occupied ever since. The question of filling the vacant .secretaryship of I ho federation lias not vet been decided.
