THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE BUYING TONE IMPROVES Share dealing was quiet when the Auckland Stock Exchange reopened yesterday, but an improvement in the buying tone was noticeable toward the close. Government loans again were in good inquiry. Offers for a number of banking issues were lifted, while support for leading insurances also strengthened, New Zealands being lifted on sale. Gas, timber and woollen scrip came in for moro attention. There was a marked firming in prominent Australian issues, with New Zealand industrials again presenting a strong front. In the mine's K r oi'P, metal shares were inclined to be easier.
