FISHING AT TAUPO
FEW ANGLERS VENTURE OUT [BY TELEGHArn —OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAUPO, Monday There arc few anglers at Taupo at present, owing to the adverse weather. Fish are plentiful and in good condition. Mr. J. Moody, of Auckland, and Mr. D. Hunt took limit catches in one day's fishing at Waihoro, including one fish of 71b. by Mr. Moody. Mr. F Chisholm and Mr. D. Hood, of Taupo, took 10 fish 111 one afternoon at Whanganui. Mr. Hood landed the largest, one of 721b. Mr. H. Smith, of Hawke's Bay, and Mr. W. Harrison, of Porangahau, landed seven fish in four hours at Mine Point. The best was one of 71b., taken by Mr. Harrison.
