RESCUES FROM SURF
The value of the surf life-saving clubs at tho various summer resorts was well demonstrated " during the holiday period at Mount Maunganui, Tanranga, when 16 rescues were effected. The Mount Maunganui Club is coin-, posed of junior only, but tho work of rescuing those in danger was well directed by two senior members of the Piha Club, L. W. Schubert and JPelham.
