INJURIES PROVE FATAL

[BY TELEGItAFH —OWN correspondent! HAMILTON, Wednesday

Tho death occurred in the Waikato Hospital this evening of William Frederick Laird, aged 15, a farmhand, who was found with a bullet wound in the forehead oil a farm near Ngaruawahia on December 17. A pea rifle was found near him. Deceased was a «on of Mr. Frederick Laird, of Hastings, and had been in the care of the Child Welfare Department. He was in tho employ of Mr. 0. G. Loelt, of Horotiu. An inquest will bo opened tomorrow.
