ONION PRICES LOWER PEAS AND CARROTS CHEAPER [from OUlt OWN' COIUIKSrOXDENT] PUKEKOHE, Wednesday Onions being grown in the Pukekohe district are now commencing to ripen and more are now being pulled, The price to-day Avas 22s per cwt. on rail Pukekohe, which compares with ;30s a week ago. Pukekohe potatoes maintain last week's value, 10s 6d per cwt. Green peas sell at 8s a sugar-bag, as against 8s Gd.a week ago. Carrots arc also cheaper, to-day's value being about 7s a sugar-bag, which represents a drop of Is 6d since last Wednesday. Cabbages and cauliflowers remain at the values which have ruled for some weeks now, namely 5s a Chapman bag and 7s 2d a sack for Drumhead cabbages. 6s a Chapman bag and 8s 9d a sack for Enfield cabbages, and 7s 2d a Chapman bag and 10s 6d a 6ack for cauliflowers.

Business in all lines was fairly quiet to-day.
