IMPROVED POSITION
PALESTINE IN DECEMBER British Wireless LONDON, Jan. 2 Tho latest authoritative advices received in London show that the security conditions in Palestine continued to /improve in December. There was a ■ Etetfdy increase in the recovery of arms, both by surrender and seizure, particularly in areas where their collection formerly had been difficult. In spite of the fact that thero remains some propaganda activity, relations between the people and the Government are increasingly cordial. A tendency for better relations between tho Arabs and the Jews is apparent, especially in the TeJ Aviv area, and recruiting for the auxiliary pioneer corps is making good progress.
