Mrs. John Allen, of Morrinsville, is the guest of Lady Mackenzie at Homai, Mrs. Charles Batkin, of Castlebar, Jihvber l'ass, is paying a visit to Wellington. Mrs. Noel Newson, of Christchurch, i.i visiting Auckland and is at Glenalvon, Waterloo Quadrant. Mrs. J. MacCulloch, of Clovernook Road, Epsom, left by motor-car yesterday lor W'airakei and Napier. .Mrs. Philip White, of Remuera Road, left by motor-car yesterday to spend a holiday at Wairakei and Napier. Mrs. Mary Winstone, of Gladstone Road, Parn'ell, has returned from a holiday spent at Great Barrier Island. Mrs. N. R. Jones, of Coronation Road, Epsom, has left to spend a holiday in Wellington and Christchurch. Mrs. Charles Chapman, of Dimedin, has arrived in Auckland by air on her way to Rotorua and is staying at Hotel Cargen. Mrs. S. Haines and Mrs. A. J. Swayne, of Cambridge, are visiting the former's mother, Mrs. C. J. Allen, ot Northcote. Mrs. Roland' Foster, of Sydney, left for Rotorua yesterday with her husband and will return to Auckland at the end of the week. •Mrs. W. B. Lloyd has returned to her home at To Kauwhata after visiting her sister. Miss A. Sheldon Smith, Clonbern Road, Remuera. Mrs V L. Chilman and her two daughters, of Portland, who returned recently from a holiday 111 England, are at present visiting Mrs. G. W. iiiair, of Mount Albert Road.
