She is now being taught to type with her foot, and, through this ability, to read.

A bea Tul woollen rug, with the Wellington city coat-of-arms worked on it, is the work of a partially paralysed young man of 24, who has been studying at the Wellington Technical College. A boy whose hands are badly twisted .has sent from Auckland some beautiful brass, book-ends, embossed leather-work and paintings. He can neither rea\ nor write, but is a finished craftsman.
