SCHOOLGIRL INJURED

MOTOR-VAN LEAVES ROAD A 13-yoar-old schoolgirl was injured and the other four occupants bruised and shaken when the motor-van in which they were travelling left the road and dropped over a 4ft. wall on to a private tennis court alongside the Ellerslie Main Highway about four o'clock yesterday afternoon. The injured girl was Matilda Farach, daughter of Mr. Yerku Farach, of Lion Road, St. Hcliers. She suffered head injuries and concussion and was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. Her condition last night was reported to bo not serious.

The van was travelling toward the Ellerslio township whon tho accident occurred, the veniclo leaving the road near tho intersection of Glasgow Jload It was extensively damaged.
