WOMEN'S COURT

CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION VICE-REGAL VISITOR LADY GALWAY'S INTEREST [BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON, Friday Her first official visit to the women's court at the Centennial Exhibition was paid by Her Excellency, Viscountess Galway, to-day. She was met by the president of the section, the Mayoress, Mrs. T. C. A, Hislop, and later the members of the executive committee were presented to her. Lady Galway, who is a patroness of the women's section, made a of the court and examined the exhibits. Sho was particularly interested in the North Island pioneer hut and the South Island pioneer room and she also spent some time watching the work of the pottery makers. The exhibits of the countrywomen's section received much praise, as did the display of work done by the Maori women. Her Excellency spent much time at each.
