ATLANTIC FLIGHT ISSUE (.Received November 14, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless LONDON, Nov. 13 An unused Newfoundland (50 cent air mail stamp was sold at a London stamp auction for £3OO. It is one of 300 issued for Commander do Pinedo's flight from Newfoundland to Rome in May, 1927. Air mail stamp collecting is experiencing a tremendous wave of popularity—particularly among American and Canadian collectors.
