Palmer, at the annual meeting. A total of 2GSIJ pigs, weighing IISJ toils, was handled. There had been a slight increase in turnover, but in keeping with most manufacturing concerns overhead costs had shown a further increase. Small goods business had increased by 50 per cent, and, as a result, the directors had to make arrangements for further packing and cooling equipment. Dividends of 6 per cent, on both ordinary and jjreference shares, were paid. GOLD AND SILVER LOXDOX, Nov. in Gold is unchanged at £8 8s an ounce. Silver is quoted at 2,'s'kl an ounce spot and L'ojd an ounce forward.
