[from otnt OWN correspondent] "WHANGAREI, Tuesday The Automobile Association's signposting staff is carrying out the posting of secondary roads in North Auckland and bringing the signs on these routes up to the standard of those on the main routes. The Whangarei area lias been completed with the erection of ,'379 new signs, and the staff is now working further north. The large district between the Mangakahia and the Wha-ngarei-Ivawakawa road is the last extensive area in North Auckland to be signposted. It is only recently t}iat the roads in the area haye been metalled.
