The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports a medium, entry of fat sheep with competition keen, values realised being in advance of last week's quotations. There was an exceptionally large entry of store cattle. Competition was not as keen as at previous sales, but a good clearance was effected. Another large yarding of pigs came forward. Stores and weaners were slightly easier. Fat woolly wethers made up to 275; fat shorn, to 235; fat shorn hoggets, to 235; fat woolly ewes, 10 245; fat shorn ewes, 21s Gd. A few lines of store sheep sold at previous rates, there being a good market for both ewe and wether hoggets. There was a firm market for fat cattle, ox beef making up to 40s per 1001b, and cow beef to 355. Prime fat Shorthorn cows made £!)
