QUIET ENTERTAINMENT
AY. Riley can ahva.vs be relied upon for good quiet entertainment with a homely background of everyday incidents and in "The 1 Valley of Baca" we find Ben Brown, a mill-owner, faced with the problem of bankruptcy. The old father is turned out of home and business by Arthur, the headstrong son, while the daughter, <1 charming and sensible cripple girl and George the younger son lind work elsewhere. Row the old man maintains his courage and faith and the young people eventually bring unity and happiness back to the home is recounted with quiet sincerity so characteristic of the author of "Windyridge."
