Tho keynote of tho message is that the menace to health and life by air raids can bo reduced by sensible precautions that do not involve much, expenditure of money. • Tho author's name is associated with a relentless honorary campaign for civilian preparedness conducted throughout Australia for four years with a dogged determination. He has no doubt that his fellow citizens need not. be at the mercy of any warfare weapon. The reader of "A.R.P. For Australians" soon begins to share Mr. Brookshank's natural optimism and is agreeing that many worth while and inexpensive safety measures can be taken. "A.R.P.
