INFANT MOUNTAINEER

ASCENT OF BEN NEVIS Little Harriet Welles, of Albany, U.S.A., is believed to bo tho youngest person ever to attain tho summit of Ben Nevis, Scotland. Harriet made the ascent at the r<ge of only three months, strapped «in a wicker Moses cradle, carried by her father, the Very Rev. Edward Randolph Welles, Dean of Albany. Air. Welles was accompanied by his wife and his four and a, half-year old daughter, Katl'iua, who made the ascent of almost 4500 feet unaided.
