EIGHTY-FOURTH BIRTHDAY

MRS. JANE POPE [from our own correspondent} HAMILTON, Thursday The 84th birthday of Mrs. Jane Pope, of Ulster Street, Hamilton, occurs to-morrow. Mrs. Pope was born in New Plymouth, and was the daughter of an officer in the New Zealand. Regiment which fought in the Maori War. She married the late Mr. Frank Wilson Pope. There are two sons and a daughter living, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
