AUCKLAND HOSPITAL

Sir, —May I express my deep appreciation of the unfailing courtesy and unwenrvinc kindnesses tendered to me by Dr. Willoughby. Sister Gilchrist and the nurses of Ward J, Auckland Hospital. The argument might, of course, be advanced that this is only their job, If so I am obliged to say in answer that their job is carried out to perfection, and we of the community who are the recipients of such unremitting care and kindness should not be afraid to publicly thank the donors, instead of just accepting and promptly forgetting. Loins Cecil. Chairman of Works, New Lynn Borough Council.
