MEETING AT MORRINSVILLE There was a large attendance of local clubs and associations at a women's gathering held in the new Morrinsville Physical Culture Hall to meet Miss Stephenson, Government instructor in physical welfare and recreation. After Miss Stephenson had spoken of the aims to be achieved it was decided to found a branch of the National Council of Physical Welfare. The following officers were elected: —President, Mrs. Gallichan; secretary, Miss P. Black; committee, Mrs. W. Hawkings, Miss D. Reason, Miss L. Clark, Miss E. Money and Miss G. Gilbert.
