LAND PRODUCTION

Sir, Like your correspondent "Warned in Time," I have also been looking for a farm, but have had no difficulty in getting about once 1 had shown agents what I was prepared to pay in cash. I have been assured by various farmers that I would have no difficulty in making from £SOO to £ISOO per annum from the various farms offered me, at to-day's price for butterfat, (The advertising columns of this paper will support my statement.) However, ,1 received a shock when 1 saw a report of a meeting tvhero one of these farmers had stated that ho was not getting a decent standard of living at to-day's price. 1 heartily agree with your correspondent that it is high time that men on some of these works should be put to some useful occupation. Also Waunkd in Time.
