RED CROSS BENEFIT
ST. ANDREW'S HALL CONCERT A stage presentation in aid of the funds of the Red Cross Society' was held in St. Andrew's Hall last night by pupils of Miss Aileen Bcresford and the Women's Institute, Belmont. A feature of the entertainment was a pageant play of the nations for which the Women's institute was responsible, while the dancing, which was arranged by Miss Aileen Beresford, was greatly appreciated. The fine costuming • added greatly to the success of the presentations and much credit is due to the costumier, Mrs. L. Beresford. The accompanist was .Miss May Bcresford. Mr. A. A.Harker, of the Red Cross Society in Auckland, thanked the performers, and Miss Aileen Beresford in particular, for the splendid presentations and for the generous gesture in donating the proceeds to -the society.
