TITLE BOUT NEXT MONDAY When Jack .Tarvis. the clever young Wellington light-weight, met Percy Kelly at Wellington recently he delighted the audience with a brilliant exhibition of boxing. He is expected to provide formidable opposition for the present. champion. C'larrie Raynor, at the Town Hall next Monday night. With a good left, plenty of speed, and a coo! ring temperament, Jarvis has beaten practically all the best-known Dominion light-weights. Although two months ago he lost to Raynor after a spirited contest, he has since gained several convincing victories over leading lightweights. Raynor can bo relied upon to defend his title with all his aggressiveness and skill. Many of his supporters are confident that he will stay the 15 rounds better than Jarvis. The bout should be very willing. A special six rounds light-weight contest is featured among the amateur supports. These have been specially selected with a view to providing speedy and closely-contested bouts.
