CROQUET

MOUNT ALBERT CLUB The official opening of the Mount Albert Croquet Club wns held on Wednesday. Tho president, Mrs. F. J. Smith, welcomed the visitors and members. Speeches were made b.v Mr. H. A. Anderson, Mayor of Mount Albert, and Mrs. A. H. Keening, president of the Auckland Croquet Association. Floral sprays were presented to Mrs. Smith, Mrs. H. A. Anderson, Mrs. Keesing and Mrs. Finch. The winners of progressive croquet were Mrs. TV. Thomson and Mrs. Wilson (A.), Mrs. Corston and Mrs. E. Brown (B.). Mrs. Hodgson played tho first ball and declared the jawns open for play.
