WESTFIELD QUOTATIONS DEMAND STILL FIRM SPRINGERS TO £lO/10/While the high prices of last week were not maintained at the Westfield weekly stock sale yesterday, tho values were on a quality basis up to that standard. The yarding was slightly smaller than last week and the number of outstanding quality cows and heifers was also smaller. Competition was keen, however, and the better quality springers and cows in milk sold lreely. Tho best realisation was £lO 10s for Ayrshire and Jersey-cross heilers close to profit. The average values were firm and a number of lines sold at prices ranging to £lO. In the store section the demand was firm and values generally showed little variation from last week. Potter bulls were somewhat scarce and those offering were of medium weight and quality. The quotations were as follows: —
