£26,000 IN TWO YEARS LEASE AT KALGOORLIE SECOND RICH PATCH FOUND (Received July 17, 10.15 p.m.) PERTH, July 17 A father and son named Carrott, who are working a small lease called "Morley's Find," outside Kalgoorlie, have struck a rich patch. Twelve hundredweight of stone yielded 1727 ounces of gold, worth £15,000. The Carrotts last year obtained £II,OOO worth of gold from the same lease.
