BULLOCK TEAMS
Sir, —I was most interested in "Old Timer's" account of the steamer Maori Chief being drawn from Onehunga to Auckland as far hack ns 72 years ago by a team of !5o bullocks. I am just wondering, however, what part the odd thirty-fifth bullock pln.ved in this team. As another old" timer, bullock teams in my experience wore always comprised of bullocks yoked in pairs, Perhaps "Old Timer" will explain. Bullocky.
