WORK AT JARROW
TRIBUTE TO PROMOTER DUKE OF WINDSOR'S LETTER LONDON, Feb. 22 The Duke of Windsor wrote to Sir John Jarvis, Conservative M.P. for Guildford, wishing him good luck in his efforts to help the Jarrow unemployed and hoping that conditions will improve. It is recalled that Sir John took a prominent part in the plan to.provide work by the purchase of the Berengaria for breaking up at Jarrow.
