MARTHA CRUSHING RETURN , 6464 FINE OUNCES OF GOLD £ [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] "WAIHI, Thursday ;~- The following information has been cabled to the London office of the! Martha Gold Mining Company (Waihi) ? Limited. For the period ended February 11, comprising 28 crushing days, 23,124 tons of ore were crushed for a result of 6464 fine v ounces of gold and , 48,328 fine ounces of silver. No. 3 Level.—H. branch: On the vein at 102 ft. in the Lovett south crosscut we have driven to the east on this 19ft., the assay value being 33s 9d a ton over a stoping width of. 4ft. K. branch: The vein at 270 ft. in the Lovett south crosscut has been driven to the east on this lift., the ore being of good grade, over a stoping width of 4ft. We have also driven to the west lift., there being good grade ore 3|ft. wide. No. 4 Level. —Martha lode, north , section: We have driven west from the Potts crosscut for 39ft. .on a small leader of little or no'value. YIELDS OF COMPANIES ' Grey River (West Coast). —To February 21, a total of 17750z. from 74,442 yards in 121 hours. Mossy Creek (West Coast). —220z. lOdwt. from 7040 yards in 106£ hours. „
