AUCKLAND EXCHANGE I dull conditions rule Little interest was taken in the various sections of the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Business wais dull and only very • few transfers were made. Support for Government loanti was fairly scattered and more holders appeared. Banks ' were quiet, with accommodation movements in New Zealands. Unions 'were weaker in a, late Bale from the previous day. In the coal group, Westport gained somo ground. Several Australian issues opened vrith a slightly stronger trend, but weakness was evident in somo cases toward the close. Woohvortks (Sydney) continued to lose ground. New Zealand industrials were comparatively steady, but M.K. Manufacturers were marked down On sale. There will be no call on the Auckland Exchange to-morrow, Show Day.
