BROMWICH BEATS QUIST SYDNEY, Nov. 25 In a tennis tournament between New South Wales and Victoria, which opened yesterday, J. Bromwicli defeated his Davis Cup team mate A. K. Quist B—6, 6 —l; J. B. Crawford defeated H. 0. Hopman, 9 —7, 7—5. A Victorian, Jack Harper, caused surprise by defeating the Sydney player J. Gilchrist, 6 —4, 7 —5.
