WAIKATO HONEY

SEASON LATER THAN USUAL [KROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON. Tuesday Although it is still early to judge the prospects for the coming honey season, bee-keepers in the Waikato are pleased with the progress that has so far been made. Hives are now swarming and thoro is a good supply of honey, botfi in native flowers and clover. Bees are not yet ready to receive the honey, however. The season is later than usual, although the bees are well forward where an abundance of stores was left on the hives during the winder.
