AFTERNOON BRIDGE PARTY COT FOR HEALTH CAMP EPSOM BRANCH EFFORT A successful bridge party was held yesterday afternoon at tho lounge of tho Tudor Theatre, Remuera, by tho Epsom branch of tho Community Sunshino Association. The function was convened by Mrs. S. E. Williams, Mrs. J. A. Haslott and Mrs. R. F. Griffin, who were assisted by Mrs. J. D. Murray, Mrs. W. W. Smedloy and Mrs. F. W. Eaton. On behalf of tho members of tho branch, Mrs. Griffin presented the president, Mrs. W. G. Gladding, with a beautiful shoulder spray of shaded tea roses. Tho honorary secretary of tho Community Sunshine Association, Mrs. B. •T. McKendrick, was entertained at afternoon tea, and afterward presented tho prizes, which had been donated by Mrs. Gladding and Mrs. A. Fogherty. Before presenting the prizes, Mrs. McKendrick explained to the guests how the proceeds from tho function would be used. A permanent health camp was to bo erected, and it was proposed to dedicate one dormitory to tho memory of the late Sir George Richardson, who had been tho Dominion president of tho national children's health camps. The proceeds from tho bridge party wore to go toward providing and equipping a cot for this dormitory. Among those present wore. —Mrs. C. Whitley, Mrs. Kibblewhite, Mrs. H. F. Prothero, Mrs. A. E.
