FRENCH POSSESSIONS APPEAL BY WAR LEADER (Received November 9, 0.15 p.m.) PARIS, Nov. 0 The war leader, Marshal Franchet D'Esperey, is making an appeal by means of a poster displayed throughout France for all Frenchmen to guard France's colonial empire, which is 18 times larger than France, from which it purchases goods to the value of £45,714,000 a year.
