GOVERNMENT HOLDS SEAT (Received Novembor 9, 0.30 p.m.) EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov 9 The Social Credit Government of Mr. William Aberhart, retained the Athabasca seat in the by-election necessitated by the death of Mr. Charles Ross. The Government candidate, Mr. C. H. Tade. defeated tho Liberal candidate by 200 votes.
